What’s HIIT?

Hot HIIT

High-intensity interval training (HIIT), also called high-intensity intermittent exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training (SIT), is a form of interval training, a cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. HIIT is the concept where one performs a short burst of high-intensity (or max-intensity) exercise followed by a brief low-intensity activity, repeatedly, until too exhausted to continue. HIIT workouts provide improved athletic capacity and condition as well as improved glucose metabolism.

About

Hot HIIT is a low impact, high intensity workout that uses interval training to sculpt and tone your body. You are going to work very hard for 20 seconds and then rest for 10. We do between 4 and 8 sets of each exercise. High intensity interval training burns a maximum amount of fat and calories during class. HIIT also creates the after effect, during which your body is still working after class, burning calories and fat.
